Caribbean
Stud Poker Books
Here is my recommended reading list for those of you who want to study
the game of Caribbean Stud Poker more in depth.
Some of the books offer a thorough analysis and computer simulations while others
skim the surface and offer other helpful information.
Bold Card Play
(Paperback) by Frank Scoblete, Published by Bonus Books (May 25,
1998); 151 Pages
This book is great if you don't want all the complex math, charts,
graphs and "what if" questions. This book not only gives you decent
play strategies for Caribbean Stud Poker but also touches on two
other popular table games: Three Card Poker and Let It Ride. Aside
from this you get the hierarchy of poker hands, money management
tips, a comparison of the games, popular questions and answers and
more!
CARIBBEAN STUD POKER (Expert Strategy)
(Paperback) by Elliot A Frome and Ira D Frome, Published by Compu-Flyers;
16 Pages
This one is written by the Frome brothers. You may recognize the
name from the well known Lenny Frome (Their father) who is known
as the dean of video poker analysis. As far as I know this was the
first comprehensive book written about Caribbean Stud Poker shortly
after it invaded the mainland. If you are looking for detailed math
explanations, charts, graphs, etc. then this is the book you want.
The
Expert's Guide To Casino Games: Expert Gamblers Offer Their Winning
Formulas (Paperback)
by Walter Thomason, Frank Scoblete, Henry Tamburin
and John Grochowski, Published by Lyle Stuart (January 1, 1997);
264 pages
This book covers not only Caribbean Stud Poker but most of the games
in the casino (Including sports betting). All of the contributors
to this book are well known in the gaming industry. The book gives
you the real odds and best strategy for each game along with money
management tips. If you are looking for a good book that covers all
of the casino games this is one of the best I've found. |
